2025 Annual Membership Confirmation Open!
The 2025 Terrafirma annual membership confirmation period is Dec.1, 2024 through Feb. 1, 2025. You cannot join or renew coverage outside of this annual period. Terrafirma does not send renewal invoices, and you must renew through the Terrafirma website. Please email Tom Kester at tkester@lta.org with questions.
Mid-Year Parcel Add and Claim Submission Blackout Period from 12/12/24 to 1/1/25
The actuaries that verify Terrafirma's financial stability every year need Terrafirma to pause logging any new claims or parcel additions between December 12th until January 1st so that they can make accurate projections. - Interested in creating a risk management plan for your land trust? The risk management experts at the Alliance created Terrafirma’s Online Risk Management plan creator which is a step-by-step assessment tool to help you write a customized risk management plan. Creating a risk management plan with this tool qualifies for the Terrafirma risk management discount.
To receive the Terrafirma risk management discount on your 2025 Policy, one staff or board member of your land trust must attend an approved risk management event. An approved risk management event must be completed every year to qualify for the risk management discount for the upcoming policy year and discounts cannot be retroactively applied.

Eligibility Requirements
There are 13 eligibility requirements. Land trusts must respond affirmatively to all eligibility questions in order to participate in Terrafirma.
Your Terrafirma password matches your password to the Alliance's Resource Center. If you do not have an account on the Alliance's Resource Center or if you have forgotten your password, click on the link for "Forgot your password?" and the system will lead you through password recovery or account setup as needed.
Using the wrong password more than three times will cause the system to lock you out

If you are no longer an "authorized representative" of a Terrafirma member land trust, then the new authorized representative must log in with their Terrafirma account and update the authorized representatives list.
