Upcoming Risk Management Discount Opportunities: Rally 2024 and Risk Management Courses

There are some big events coming up which qualify for the Terrafirma risk management discount. Check out the following (and mark your calendars now!):

• Rally 2024 is happening September 25-28 in Providence, Rhode Island. The 40^th National Land Conservation Conference will gather conservation practitioners around the country to learn about diverse conservation topics. Many workshops will qualify for the Terrafirma risk management discount.
• The following upcoming risk management webinars which are free and online (each webinar is scheduled for 3-4PM EST):
  • 11/21/24 – Understanding Remote Monitoring Principles and Limitations
  • 12/5/24 – Terrafirma Tips  
  • 01/9/25 – Insurance 101
  • 01/23/25 – Land Division Legal Challenges

• Interested in creating a risk management plan for your land trust? The risk management experts at the Alliance created Terrafirma’s Online Risk Management plan creator which is a step-by-step assessment tool to help you write a customized risk management plan. Creating a risk management plan with this tool qualifies for the Terrafirma risk management discount.    

To receive the Terrafirma risk management discount on your 2025 Policy, one member of your land trust will need to attend an approved risk management course. An approved risk management course must be completed every year to qualify for the risk management discount for the coming policy year and discounts cannot be retroactively applied.
