Have alignment before you sign it

A claim is a claim is a claim. That goes for on-hold, or placeholder, claims and any settlement or modification. These are a “Claim” under your Terrafirma policy. Terrafirma must review any settlement or change to conservation rights for all claims. Section 4.5.1 requires Terrafirma’s prior consent to any settlement including any resolution resulting in a modification of the conservation rights. Without such consent, coverage for settlement-related liability voluntarily assumed by members is excluded from the Policy. You jeopardize coverage for future related claims without Terrafirma consent. All settlements must be consistent with Land Trust Standards and Practices or the Accreditation Requirements Manual . Check with Terrafirma before offering any settlement or modifications to trespassers or neighbors.
